Dr Alison Neill, Head of School, Dr Mark Caddy, Deputy Head of School, Mr Manolis Psarros, Acting Deputy Head of School and Mr Guy Cowper, Director of Finance and Operations make decisions on strategy and the day-to-day running of the School. We have a strong Council of Governors, a committed team of teaching and business support staff and are supported by an inspiring and knowledgeable patron.

Head of School, Dr Alison NeillAfter training as a biologist, Dr Neill worked with undergraduates and taught at a Further Education college and then at a large co-educational secondary school in the maintained sector. She progressed to being Head of Sixth Form and then took on management of the senior years before becoming overall Head of School. She has responsibility for educational strategy and direction, children and pupil welfare and staff appointments. Dr Neill is an Independent Schools inspector and a member of The Society of Heads for independent schools where she sits on their Professional Development Committee. Under the leadership of Dr Neill and her excellent team, Clifton High School has been on an exciting journey over the last few years. Through their commitment, passion and innovative thinking they have transformed Clifton High into the flourishing, co-educational School it is today. They have had the foresight to embrace change and have a restless curiosity to find new and better ways of doing things. The leadership team has created a culture of optimism and energy with staff embracing the change but always having the best interest of the children and young people at the forefront of their minds; they have ensured that the School and the education it provides are current and relevant for today’s young people and their parents.
