Clifton High School Sixth Form students are offered unprecedented support and guidance as they transition from School life into the next chapter of their journey.
Guiding our Sixth Form students’ decision making about their futures is offered through Clifton High School’s inspiring Careers Guidance Programme, overseen by our in-house Head of Higher Education and Careers, Mr Richard Parry. He will personally provide 1:1 support for every student in our Sixth Form guiding them on their UCAS application, Oxford and Cambridge entries and with the majority accessing their first choice university and course or alternative vocation.
Working together with industry experts and employers, the strength of our alumni network, The Rosarians, dedicated Futures and Skills tuition, alumni breakfasts and higher education fairs all contribute to students being connected to an extensive range of professionals and professions. We have previously assisted pupils gain places on apprenticeships and specialist courses, for such industries as aviation and the Police Force.
Our community driven ethos cultivates individuals who have a strong sense of themselves and the world around them, affording our students the ability to learn beyond the classroom setting as they embark upon their own future career pathways.
Whilst the goal of exceeding academic standards is exemplary in the Sixth Form, we very much value our students for who they become as well as what they achieve, firmly believing that from happiness and self-confidence, success will follow.
ROSARIANS
The word 'community' is a constant echo throughout Clifton High School and we truly retain students as valued members of this community when they venture into the world beyond School. As they are automatically enrolled as a Rosarian, within our alumni body, they are always warmly welcomed back to visit us, inspire current pupils through guest speaking initiatives, attend events and social gatherings.
