Our Senior School pupils recently attended the Unlock Cyber Taster Day 2026, an exciting opportunity to explore the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity. Throughout the day, pupils engaged in a range of interactive sessions, gaining valuable insight into the skills and pathways involved in one of today’s fastest-growing industries.
It was particularly encouraging to see such strong enthusiasm from our pupils, with a notable majority of those attending being female. Their engagement and curiosity throughout the sessions highlight the growing interest and confidence among girls in pursuing opportunities within STEM and cyber-related fields.
Experiences like these are essential in helping pupils connect classroom learning with real-world applications. From problem-solving challenges to understanding how cyber threats are tackled, the day provided a meaningful glimpse into future career possibilities.
We hope that this experience has inspired many of our pupils to continue their journey in this field, and we look forward to welcoming many of them onto our Computer Science GCSE course in the years ahead.
