We have been delighted to welcome our Reception 2026 children for a series of transition sessions over the summer term.
These sessions offered a valuable opportunity for children to begin their journey with us, spending time in their new classrooms, meeting their teachers, and taking part in a range of fun, engaging activities designed to help them feel comfortable and excited about starting school.
For our current Pre-School children, it marked an important and exciting next step, while we were also thrilled to welcome many new families into the Clifton High School community. It has been wonderful to see friendships beginning to form and confidence grow with each visit.
Transition sessions play a vital role in helping children feel settled and familiar with their surroundings ahead of September. By experiencing the environment, routines and relationships early on, pupils can start school with a strong sense of belonging.
