Reception's Final Library Lesson of the Year | News | Clifton High School | Independent School Bristol

RECEPTION LOVE READING!

Reception enjoyed their final Library lesson of the year with Mrs Clear, celebrating a wonderful year of stories.

Reception were sad to say goodbye to Mrs Clear during their final Library lesson of the year. Throughout the year, the children have enjoyed a wonderful variety of stories and book-related activities, helping to nurture a love of reading and learning.

Following Sports Day, Reception gathered for one last story together, Last Place Lin, a heartwarming tale about a young girl who learns that taking part and trying your best is more important than winning. It was the perfect way to reflect on the day's events and celebrate the value of perseverance, participation and enjoyment.

As the school year comes to a close, we encourage all our Reception pupils to keep reading over the summer and continue exploring the exciting worlds that books can offer.
