At Clifton High School, we are always proud to celebrate the achievements of our pupils, both in and beyond the classroom. This summer, Year 7 pupil Khloe reached an exciting milestone in her basketball journey, showcasing her talent, leadership and determination on the national stage.
Earlier this year, Khloe was selected for the third consecutive year to represent the Central Region following a rigorous selection process and a series of trials throughout the season. Recognised as one of the top U13 girls' basketball players in the region, she earned a place at the prestigious Aspire National All-Star 5x5 Tournament, held in Manchester from 10th to 12th July.
Representing the Central Region, Khloe and her teammates competed in five highly competitive matches over the course of the tournament. The team demonstrated outstanding commitment, teamwork and resilience, ultimately finishing as national runners-up in a fantastic achievement for all involved.
Adding to an already memorable weekend, Khloe proudly captained the team throughout the competition and was selected for the U13 All-Star Five, an honour that recognises the tournament's standout players.
Khloe's success reflects not only her exceptional talent and dedication to her sport, but also the hard work and perseverance she has shown over a number of years. We are delighted to see her achievements recognised at such a high level and look forward to following her continued progress in the future.
