Estates and Operations Director
Required from April 2021
£41,000-55,000, depending on experience
We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Estates and Operations Director. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team to help lead the School through the next stage of its development. The School is situated on a beautiful Bristol site with a range of buildings and facilities, and large open spaces. If you are passionate about the prospect of using your experience to help our school to achieve its ambitious aims, then we are looking for candidates like you.
One of our current projects is to create a new environment for our Sixth Form; a combination of converting a pre-existing building and developing the site further. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering this project, which is just one of many ways we are planning to improve our school site.
The Estates and Operations Director will ensure the day to day operational running of the School, as well as the management and strategic direction of estates and facilities management, operational business governance, compliance and assurance, data (GDPR) and health and safety. Experience of estates management and health and safety, together with proven success in project management are highly sought. The ability to lead and work in a team is vital, as is experience of managing a small to medium team.
Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for 570 pupils aged 3-18 years. We deliver an education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos, valuing individuality and positively celebrating diversity and inclusion at every area of the school.
