Leaving a Legacy: The 1877 Club

Legacies, no matter the size, are hugely valuable to the School, and we are immensely grateful to all those who remember us in their will. To recognise the importance of all those who pledge such support we have established the 1877 Club - named after the year of the School’s foundation - to honour those whose foresight and ambition helped established Clifton High School over 140 years ago.

By remembering Clifton High School in your will, you can both acknowledge the influences that have shaped your life and secure the future ambitions of the School and its students for generations to come. To recognise and thank you for your generosity and foresight, all those who notify us of your intensions to leave a gift to the School in your will, will automatically become a member of the 1877 Club.

As a member of the 1877 Club you would receive a range of benefits including invites to special occasions such as an annual 1877 Club event and we will keep you updated about the impact of legacy giving at School. To notify us of your intentions please complete the form below.

We recognise that any gift is deeply personal and that you may wish to specify how your legacy will be used. If you are considering leaving a gift in your will to the School, we would be pleased to discuss your intentions with you – regardless of whether you consider the gift to be large or small. We of course understand if you would prefer to keep your intentions private. However, it can be useful for the School to know of your plans, as this ensures that we are able to thank you personally and talk to you about the impact your gift could make.

If you need any information or want to discuss your ideas, please get in touch with the Director of Development, Elizabeth Bond on 0117 933 9081 or email development@cliftonhigh.co.uk.
