Trips and Visits
Trips and visits enhance the curriculum and provide our children with exciting and enriching opportunities to learn outside the classroom. Our enrichment programme provides boys and girls with a variety of opportunities that they would not typically encounter in the academic curriculum. Part of the scheme involves regular trips and visits, for example, to Cadbury World to learn how chocolate is made or to Team Bath to experience life as a medal-winning Olympic athlete.
As part of the enrichment programme, Junior School children undertake a two or three night residential trip to an activity camp in the United Kingdom. This offers boys and girls the opportunities to enjoy adventurous activities such as canoeing, climbing, abseiling, archery, skiing, quad-biking, body-boarding, fencing and orienteering.
The older Junior School children can also participate in overseas trips and tours. In 2015 the boys and girls in Year 6 took part in our netball and cricket tour to Barbados.
