We are saddened to hear about the passing of British actress and Clifton Rosarian Glynis Johns who has died at the age of 100.
Born in South Africa, Glynis attended Clifton High in the 1930's under the Headship of Miss Glenday. In a career that spanned more than 60 years appearing in dozens of films and countless theatre productions, Glynis will always be remembered for playing the indomitable Mrs Banks in the 1964 Disney musical Mary Poppins.
