CLIFTON HIGH POLICIES

Ensuring the safety and welfare of our pupils.

Policies

Clifton High School is registered with the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), and is regularly inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).

Clifton High School has many school policies which comply with the standards and regulations set out by the above authorities. Our policies exist primarily to ensure the safety and welfare of our pupils, as well as encompassing their learning, educational, social, cultural and moral experiences to enable them to become confident and resilient young people. Copies of a selection of our school policies are available below for you to download. Printed copies are available from the School Office on request, free of charge. If the policy you require cannot be found below, please contact the School Office.

An ISI requirement is that in addition to a complaints policy, we must report on the number of complaints we received in the previous academic year; the number of formal complaints received during the academic year 2022-2023 was 2.

Clifton High School is committed to safeguarding pupils and young people and expects all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.
