Leonardo da Vinci; A Life in Drawing, an exhibition that the School is sponsoring, opened at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery last Friday.
Inspired by this the pupils at Clifton High will, this term, be discovering more about the polymath and his breadth of work. Their work began with the first ‘Leonardo Club’ that was held after School on Monday.
During this hands on, creative, extra-curricular club that focuses on Leonardo’s artistic work, pupils reinterpreted his pieces, methods and style. They also joined forces with the chemists of the School to make ink and parchment to use as drawing materials.
The pupils are already looking forward to next week’s session.
